Capital City giants Silver Strikers missed the chance to put pressure on Nyasa Big Bullets and Mighty Mukuru Wanderers at the top of the TNM Super League log table after drawing 0-0 with Mighty Tigers at Bingu National Stadium (BNS) on Friday.
Despite the home side dominating the chances , Tigers goalkeeper Innocent Nyasulu had to produce crucial saves to deny Chimwemwe Idana and Rodwell Robert what would have been beautiful goals in the second half.
After the match, Nyasulu was voted man of the match for helping his side to snatch the match needed away point.
This is the second successive draw for both Silver and Tigers as they were also held to a goalless and a 1-all draw against Dedza Dynamos and Mafco FC respectively.
Silver remains third on the log table with 12 points while Tigers are perched on number 9 with 7 points after playing six games.
