Despite the setbacks, the coach believes that with the right mix of talent and experience, the Flames can overcome the hurdles and achieve their goal.

One of the key factors that Pasuwa is counting on to improve the team’s performance is the inclusion of players based in Europe.

He believes that these players bring a different level of experience and expertise that can help to elevate the team’s game.

“I think incorporating players based in Europe can boost our confidence,” Pasuwa said. “These players have experience playing at a higher level, and that can only benefit the team,” he added.

Pasuwa also took the opportunity to praise his assistant coaches, Peter Mponda and Prichard Mwansa, for their hard work and dedication. “I want to appreciate the work that my assistant coaches, Peter Mponda and Prichard Mwansa, have been doing,” he said, adding that,”They have been instrumental in helping me shape the team, and I appreciate their contributions.”

The Flames’ journey to the 2027 AFCON is still ongoing, and Pasuwa’s optimism will be put to the test as the team faces tough competition from other African nations.

However, with the right strategy and talent, the team may yet achieve its goal of qualifying for the prestigious tournament.

The team’s rebuilding process is ongoing, and Pasuwa’s focus on developing a strong team dynamic and incorporating experienced players is expected to pay off in the long run.

As the Flames continue their quest for AFCON qualification, fans will be eagerly watching to see how the team progresses under Pasuwa’s guidance.
