Mighty Wanderers Appoint Meke Mwase as Substantive Head Coach

Mighty Wanderers Football Club has confirmed Meke Mwase as its substantive Head Coach, effective immediately.
Mwase has been serving as Acting Head Coach since May 2024, following the departure of Nsazurwimo Ramadhan.
The confirmation was announced by the club’s management, expressing confidence in Mwase’s ability to lead the team to success.
“We are delighted to confirm Coach Mwase as our Head Coach,” said the club’s Chairman. “His experience and passion for the game make him the ideal candidate to take our team forward,”he added.
Mwase brings a wealth of experience to the role, having previously coached various teams in Malawi’s top-flight league.
His appointment has been welcomed by fans and players alike.
“I’m honored to be given this opportunity,” Mwase said. “My goal is to build a strong, competitive team that will make our fans proud. We’ll work tirelessly to achieve success and bring glory to Mighty Wanderers.”

The team’s captain, Francis Mkonda, praised Mwase’s coaching style. “Coach Mwase has brought a new level of energy and enthusiasm to the team. We’re confident in his ability to lead us to success.”
