The National Coaches Association of Malawi(NCAM) says it is planning for a red carpet event to honour FCB Nyasa Big Bullets expatriate coach, Callisto Pasuwa, after having a successful stints in his five year stay in Malawi.
The Association’s President, Aubrey Nankhuni, confirmed the development to local media saying Pasuwa has been a good example to Malawian coaches tactically and behaviour wise hence deserves the honour.
“Everyone knows how Pasuwa has performed since coming in Malawi. He is an example to many and promoted Malawian football by nurturing these youngsters and talking of behavior, we have never seen him misbehaving or making bad comments to the media.
“In the second half, he changes the team tactically which makes him the best,”said Nankhuni.
He also said that the Association will honour Scorchers head coach, Lovemore Fazili and Chitipa United coach, Macdonald Mtetemera for performing better in 2023 season.
Pasuwa has won the TNM Super League five times in a row with FCB Nyasa Big Bullets and is on course of winning historic quadruple if they will beat MAFCO in the Airtel Top 8 final on Saturday.
