The Nomads moved second on the 2023 TNM Super League Log table after a win over Mafco last weekend.

Mpinganjira has however, splashed MK100, 000 to every player and the technical panel members as a way for thanking them for the wonderful performance.

“I am delighted at the performance of our boys. I want this trend to continue.

“As their top fan, I will keep motivating them towards better results,” said Mpinganjira.

The President also appreciated the players after the Nomads ended Silver Strikers FC’s unbeaten run at Kamuzu Stadium last week.

Wanderers have played four games without a defeat which has seen the pressure eased on the embattled technical panel.

Wanderers displayed a wonderful performance against their cross-town rivals, FCB Nyasa Big Bullets in a barren draw before beating Silver Strikers, Blue Eagles and Mafco.

They now have 28 points from 14 games and they will wrap up their first round of the season with an away game against Mafco FC.

William Thole has now kept four clean-sheets on trot which has seen him leapfrogging Silver Strikers’ Charles Thom to the top of the Golden glove chart.

Mpinganjira has rewarded him with extra MK200, 000 for his brilliant performance while Vincent Nyangulu has been rewarded with an extra MK50, 000.
