Kajoke sends Bullets top as Eagles find the winning formula

Hassan Kajoke netted a goal with Lanjesi Nkhoma and Substitute, Antony Mfune netting the other as FCB Nyasa Big Bullets beat Moyale Barracks 3-1 to go top of the TNM Super League at the Kamuzu Stadium on Saturday.
Nkhoma got his 4th goal of the season on 7th minute before Kajoke netting his second from two games on 15 minutes in the game and Mfune added third on 65 minutes to seal the People’s team win despite Raphael Phiri’s consolation on 67th minute.
FCB Nyasa Bullets head coach, Callisto Pasuwa was grateful with the win.
“It’s good that we have won the match, we have played four games and on 10 points, not bad. We played well though we hard some other problems as losing the ball to our opponents but in the second half we came more offensive.” Said Pasuwa.
Meanwhile, Moyale’s Nicholas Mhango was angry with the defeat and said defensive errors cost them.
“We conceded early goals that disturbed us, we were not good at our bad. We are not bad, we are a good team and we will beat someone.” Said Mhango.
The People’s team has a good start and a Patrick Mwaungulu’s ball was met by Nkhoma for an opener on 5th minute before him turning into a provider for Kajoke’s goal 8 minutes later. The people’s team introduced Gomegzani Chirwa and Antony Mfune at the break and the striker got the team’s third on 65th minute but Raphael Phiri got one back two minutes later.
The win takes Bullet up to top of the standings with 10 points from four games while Moyale are down to 7 with 5 points from four games.
Meanwhile, Last years runners up, Blue Eagles picked up their first win of the season after smashing Chitipa United 3-1 at the Nankhaka Grounds. Micium Mhone, Sankhani Mkandawire and Tonic Viyuyi netted second half goals for the cops while Ken Mlenga got the consolation goal to the delightful of deputy coach, Christopher Sibale.
“We are happy for the win and the boys followed what we told them. We are hoping that this is the start of getting wins and if it goes like this, we may move up to the top.” Sibale Said.
Chitipa United’s coach, Macdonald Mtetemera accepted the defeat and attributed it to lack of concentration.
“Its a painful loss considering that we conceded three goals in just 10 minutes so we controlled it but lost it in a while, the boys are young and are still learning.” Said Mtetemera.
The win takes Eagles up to 5th with 5 points from four games while Chitipa are 9th with four points.
Finally at Civo Stadium, Paul Ndhlovu rescued a point for MAFCO as the soldiers held Civo United in a 1-1 draw with Patrick Phiri netting for the hosts. Civo are now 6th with 5 points while MAFCO are 11th with 4 points.
Actions continue on Sunday as Mighty Wakawaka Tigers host Mighty Mukuru Wanderers, Ekwendeni Hammers welcome Silver Strikers, Dedza Dynamos lock horns with Red Lions, Extreme FC crash with Kamuzu Barracks and Bangwe All Stadium are visitors to Karonga United.
