Mighty Wanderers Enter One-Year Partnership with Island Beverages for Water Supply

By Wadza Botomani
Mighty Wanderers Football Club has signed a one-year partnership agreement with Island Beverages, a company that will provide water to all Wanderers teams. The deal also grants Island Beverages the exclusive rights to sell Kasupe water at all Wanderers matches.
Greyson Chapita, the club’s commercial director, expressed gratitude to Island Beverages for the sponsorship, highlighting its importance in supporting the team’s operations. Wanderers reportedly spends at least 420,000 Malawian kwacha monthly on water, making this partnership a significant cost-saving measure.

The Nomads already have sponsorship agreements with other companies, including 888 Bets (a K100 million kit sponsor for the 2025 season), Ekhaya Farm Foods, Smile Life Insurance, and Pemba Rubber Stamps . This new deal with Island Beverages further strengthens the club’s commercial portfolio as they prepare for the upcoming TNM Super League season.
Wanderers recently ended their three-year naming rights deal with Mukuru, reverting to their original name, Mighty Wanderers FC, after the sponsorship expired in early 2025 . The club remains focused on securing partnerships to enhance its competitiveness in Malawian football.
