Chakwera impressed with progress of Police Houses in Chikwawa

Malawi leader President Dr Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera says he is impressed with the progress of police and prison staff houses being constructed in Chikwawa and Blantyre districts.
Chakwera on Wednesday inspected various developmental projects that the Malawi Congress Party led government is undertaking in the two districts.
Speaking soon after inspectng 30 modern houses at Mitole Police station in Chikwawa, Chakwera said was happy with what he has seen.
The President said that after verifying with Engineer Jacob Hara , the project is going on well.
Later in the day, thousands of people gathered at Zingwangwa Admarc in Blantyre where the President stopped to appreciate the process of buying and selling of maize at the facility.
Chakwera ordered the state-owned Admarc to continue selling the staple grain at 600/kg in all Admarc depots across the country to ensure that Malawians have access to affordable food.
