Malawi’s famous local musician, Joe Gwaladi, is in police custody for allegedly assaulting and injuring his wife at Mulomba Trading Centre in Phalombe District last night.
The spokesperson for Phalombe Police, Jimmy Kapanja,has confirmed the incident a short while ago to Zodiak Online but could not divulge more information.
He said currently, police are still investigating the matter.
