Mbadzi United FC have written to the Central Region Football Association (CRFA) to withdraw their participation in the Chipiku last round of 6 teams citing bias towards one team by the officiating personnel.
The development comes just a day after two of their players got red-carded in the team’s 2-1 defeat to Extreme FC on Wednesday.
In a letter dated 28 December,2020, the team claims that Extreme FC is being favoured by the officiating personnel and that some games are being manipulated in favour of the team.
Extreme are perched at the summit of the log table of the league’s last round of 6 with 9 points followed by Wimbe FC who have accumulated 2 points. Mbadzi are in position 5 with a single point.
