Full details of Fredokiss arrest have now started to emerge. The Hip-hop artist and Politician Penjani Kalua popularly known as Fredokiss was on Friday arrested by the Fiscal Police on financial crimes and has been charged with fraud. He has since been released on bail.
National Police Publicist, Peter Kalaya, tod reporters that said Fredokiss together with other two accomplices defrauded Daiton Bwanamusi money totalling K6.3 million.Kalaya further said the police have since managed to recover part of the money and the police are hunting for the other two accomplices who are still at large.
Meanwhile, Kalua was released on police bail and he is expected to report to Fiscal Police offices in Lilongwe, on Monday 19 September 2022.
Following his release , Fredokiss who has been at the forefront of organising demos to force governemnt to release Mussa John, a young man who was imprisoned for cannabis possession wrote on his facebook page that he was out and that plans for the demos were still intact
