Ministry of Transport and public works has assured people living in Zomba and other surrounding area that Government will complete the construction of Lirangwe Zomba Chingare road project in good time.
Ministry of Transport and Public Relations officer Watson Maingo said this in an exclusive interview. Maingo said the project is divided into two lots, and currently first lot is going on well.
Maingo said the Ministry is currently hunting for contractors to complete lot two and three.
He said the contractor is on the ground doing the job. Some people living along this project have expressed concern of the delay. One such individual is John Thondolo who argue that the project started long time ago and urges Government to complete this project.
Thondolo has since urged current Government to put up effort and complete this project.
Once completed, the project will have positive impact on education, health , agriculture, and general community business.
