Chisale finally arrested over his Zodiak TV outburst

In a dramatic turn of events Police in Lilongwe are keeping in custody former presidential bodyguard, Paulos
Norman Chisale over his outburst during an interview on Zodiak TV.
Little is known about his arrest but reports indicate that he was being held at Lingadzi Police Station in Lilongwe where police intend to record a statement.
Chisale during the exclusive interview with Zodiak spoke a lot of unprinted words against Senior Government officials.
Confirming the arrest, Malawi Police Service (MPS) say they have arrested Chisale for intimidation and Obstructing justice.
A statement signed by police public relations officer Peter Kalaya says the arrest follows complaints lodged by public officers from different institutions who allege that “Mr. Chisale has been confronting them with sordid threats for their respective roles in criminal cases that he is answering in courts of law or being investigated”.
Mr. Chisale was arrested at National Police Headquarters in Lilongwe where he was summoned. He is currently in police custody awaiting court appearance.
