One of the fast growing financial institutions Ecobank Malawi has hailed its customers for their unwavering support towards its growth trajectory.
From October 2 to 6, 2023, the bank celebrated customer service week where various interventions were deployed in appreciating the clients.
Among other things, the bank’s executives were seen servicing customers in various front roles.
Ecobank Head of Brand, Marketing and Corporate Communications Tidzi Chalamba told an us in an interview that the bank used the period for enhancing in-person engagement with the customers and soliciting feedback on its products and services.
Said Chalamba:”We are grateful to our customers for their loyalty and trust in us. We are also proud of our staff for their dedication and professionalism. We have used this week to express our appreciation and gratitude to them.”
Ecobank Malawi Limited is a limited company incorporated under the Companies Act 1984 and registered in Malawi under the Banking Act, 1989.
The Bank began operations as Ecobank Malawi Limited in April 2008 following acquisition of majority shareholding in Loita Bank Limited by Ecobank Transnational Incorporated, the ultimate holding company incorporated in Lome, Togo.
The Bank provides universal banking services to consumer, commercial and corporate customers.
