Prophet David Mbewe gets 2 awards on leadership,humanitarian works

On Thursday, a local organization under the banner Youth for Change Organisation (YCO) honoured self-acclaimed Prophet David Mbewe with two awards on leadership and humanitarian.

The awards follow Mbewe’s activeness as he has been seen supporting the needy mainly orphans, the elderly and persons with disabilities in various parts of the country with cash, food and other items.

According to Chisomo Munthali the organization ‘s Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) said the NGO decided to award prophet Mbewe to express appreciation and encourage his deeds.

“He is doing a great job and his mercy on poor cannot go unnoticed,” said Munthali.

On his part, Mbewe said whilst he is doing this for charity he never thought some would recognize his accomplishments.

“It is an honour and I am encouraged to do even more than what I have been doing,” said Prophet Mbewe.

Youth For Change is a charity youth organisation founded in 2016 by international citizenship volunteers by progression from Malawi and United Kingdom.

The core objective for the formation of the organization is to empower and uplift the lives of vulnerable youth in the country in areas of education, health and environment.
