Mighty Mukuru Wanderers has released ten players including last season’s top goal scorer Muhammad Sulumba who scored 15 goals and had two assists after playing 28 games for the Lali Lubani side.
The player was followed by Vincent Nyangulu and Chiukepo Msowoya who finished the season with 6 and five goals respectively and they have all been given a contract extension.
Surprisingly, the Wanderers has also maintained former Baroka FC attacker Robin Ngalande who did not have enough game time after being signed by the club in September last year.
Other players who have been shown the exit door include; Pilirani Mapira, Adeleke Kolawole, Bongani Kaipa, Francis Mlimbika, Lloyd Mugala, Joseph Balakasi, Ted Sumani, Aubrey Maloya and Ephraim Kondowe.
Meanwhile the club has released its 2023 squad which include their new six signings; Dalitso Khungwa, Lawrence Chaziya, Mphatso Kamanga, Emmanuel Nyirenda, Christopher Kumwembe and Gaddie Chirwa.
