Attorney General Thabo Chakaka Nyirenda will this Saturday have an interface with Malawians living in Diaspora it has been announced.
The engagement which will be done online via Zoom will aim at giving opportunity to Malawians living in Diaspora to hear first hand what the government is doing in its efforts to fight corruption and many other issues
The event will also give opportunity for the Attorney General to hear contributions from the diaspora on how best some of the issues can be tackled for the better Malawi.
Spokesperson for the event organizers Nic Thindwa told Malawiana Times that due to many unverified sources of information nowadays, the diaspora thought it wise was to engage the Attorney General directly to have a greater understanding of what is really going on in Malawi.
” The Attorney General has been on many high profile cases and there has been a lot of misinformation out there so it will be an opportunity to get clarity and also to give room for the diaspora to share ideas with him”
Thindwa went on to say the event is open to all Malawians in Diaspora as it is a neutral event with no political affiliations.
