Last night at Kamuzu Palace, President Reverend Lazarus Chakwera had the pleasure of hosting to a dinner football teams participating in the Four Nations Tournament in celebration of the unity the beautiful game brings to nations.
As Malawi welcomes national teams from Zimbabwe, Zambia and Kenya to the warm heart of Africa, government intends to use this maiden event to strengthen ties with these nations in other sectors as well.
Chakwera said this way, football will become a springboard to the growth of other economic prospects that come with it.
“I wish our visitors a memorable stay in Malawi and all the teams a constructive tournament,” Chakwera concluded.
