Foreign Affairs Minister Nancy Tembo has hailed President Lazarus Chakwera for the development projects he is implementing across the country.
Tembo was speaking on Sunday at Sese Ground in Lilongwe’s Area 24 during a political rally by the Malawi Congress Party (MCP).
Said Tembo:”Chakwera is doing great in developing the whole Malawi. Look at several development projects that are being implemented in the country. To say the truth, the president is committed enough to bring the new Malawi.”
She then called on Malawians to render their support to the president so as he continues developing the country.
In his address, Minister of Local Government Richard Chimwendo Banda said people of Area 24 shown that they love their MP, Tembo.
The Minister said the MCP is bringing about tangible development.
He said, through the City Council, the Ministry of Local Government will build a road to Area 24.
He said as a Leader of the House, the MCP has received many requests from opposition law makers to join the ruling party.
Guest of honour during the rally was MCP Secretary General Eisenhower Mkaka.
Also present during the meeting were, Health Minister Khumbize Kandodo Chiponda, Gender Minister Jean Sendeza and Lands Minister Deus Gumba.
