Chakwera arrives home from human development capital summit in Tanzania

President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera has today arrived back from Dar Es Salaam in Tanzania where he attended the Human Capital Development Summit.
At the two-day summit, which was sponsored by the World Bank,Heads of State and development technocrats discussed challenges African countries are facing in human capital development and identify possible solutions.
On top of that, the Malawi’s servant leader also held talks with Victoria Akwakwa, who is World Bank Vice President responsible for Southern and Eastern Africa.
However,speaking upon arrival, Dr. Chakwera said the World Bank expressed commitment to continue supporting Malawi’s development agenda.
At the Kamuzu International Airport, the Malawi leader was welcomed by Vice President Dr Saulos Chilima, some cabinet Ministers, faith community and traditional leaders.
