Namalomba appointed new DPP spokesperson to replace Brown Mpinganjira

The main opposition party, the Democratic Progressive Party ( DPP) has appointed a Member of Parliament( MP) for Mangochi South West Constituency Shadreck Namalomba as the new party’s Spokesperson replacing Brown James Mpinganjira.
In a statement signed by the party’s administrative secretary Francis Mphepo, Mpinganjira has stepped down from the position due to other competing priorities.
There has been leadership wrangle in DPP since its loss during the fresh presidential elections in 2020.
Few weeks ago, the party announced that it has plans to restructure itself in preparation for the 2025 generation where 3 National Executive Members are to be move and reinstated including that of the current leader or opposition Kondwani Nankhumwa.
