Popular Malawian musician Lawrence Khwisa, widely known by his stage name Lulu, has pledged significant financial support to a local mother in Thyolo District who is raising four sons simultaneously.
Through a post on his official Facebook page, Lulu announced that he would donate MK500,000 to Mrs. Saina Biziwiki to help her meet the needs of her children.
In addition to the immediate donation, Lulu said he plans to contribute five percent of the earnings from his upcoming December shows to further support Mrs. Biziwiki’s family.
The musician expressed that he was deeply moved after learning about the challenges Mrs. Biziwiki has faced in caring for her children under difficult circumstances.
Lulu highlighted the importance of community support, noting that every family deserves a chance to thrive, especially when raising multiple children without adequate resources.
Mrs. Biziwiki, who now has seven children, continues to receive medical attention and care at Chikwawa District Hospital, where she has been staying.
Social media users have praised Lulu for his generosity, describing his gesture as a model example of how influential figures can positively impact local communities.
Lulu’s promise serves as a reminder that acts of kindness both big and small, can make a significant difference in the lives of vulnerable families, offering hope and practical support when it is needed most.
