MRP pens British government bring to book Sattar’s accomplices

By Vincent Gunde
The 14th registered political party in Malawi, Muvi wa Chilungamo Revolution Party (MRP) has written a letter to the British government to bring to book all those that were involved in conniving with businessman Zuneth Sattar to be swindling money from poor Malawians from 2008 to 2020 so that they stand trial either in Britain or Malawi.
The MRP said Malawi is a God-fearing nation and as such, it cannot live with all those involved in corruption syndicate with Zuneth Sattar to continue running the country but to stand trial to prove their innocence if not committed the offence.
The Party said Malawians are demanding the refund of money used to procure Water Canon military vehicles from Zuneth Sattar for fuel, forex, sugar, and development claiming that the country has never been at war and is not at war.

Speaking through civic education and awareness campaign programme, the Party’s President and Commander in Chief who is also a Pan-Africanist and Revolutionary Bantu Saunders Jumah, has appealed to new political parties in Malawi to join it in making sure that Sattar refund the money he has stolen from Malawians from 2008 to 2020.
Jumah said Malawians cannot allow few individuals to kill them for their criminal act recalling that the former Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Chief Martha Chizuma submitted a list of 84 corruption suspect who have benefited from Sattar’s corruption basket fund in Malawi to President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera but no action was taken against 83 suspects.
He has told the British government that all the culprits involved to have connived with corrupt businessman Sattar must face jail in Malawi or Britain and if not, after the 16th September, 2025 General Elections, Malawians themselves will arrest them.
The Revolutionary leader said Malawians have a case against Sattar and all those who have benefited from him in Malawi calling upon Civil Society Organizations in Malawi, the African Union, the SADC and the Sahel Government of Mali, Niger and Burkina Faso to help Malawians in pursuing this corruption case and all those involved to stand trial.
Jumah has faulted the Tonse Alliance government led by the Malawi Congress Party (MCP) wrong for closing the Sattar’s corruption case in Malawi assuring it that Malawians will reopen this case either in Malawi or Britain for their monies back.
“Malawians have been dancing for politicians for long and clapping hands for nonsense, let them now dance for us to tell us where is our money they have been stealing from 2008 to2020,” said Jumah.
He has urged Malawians that this is not the time to clap hands to criminals a hyena can change mountains, it will be a hyena saying their vote on the 16th September, 2025 is the only key for Malawi to be known as a God –fearing nation.
Jumah said Malawi is too small to Burkina Faso, Niger and Mali , Malawians have never been in these countries but everyone knows what these countries are doing, advising Malawians not to make a mistake on the 16th September, 2025 that all is in their hands that together, they will get this nonsense out of their country.
