MCP to hold follow-up press briefing after Chakwera’s Address, says Jessie Kabwila

By Burnett Munthali
MCP spokesperson Jessie Kabwila has announced that the party leader, Lazarus Chakwera, will hold another press briefing to give journalists an opportunity to ask questions.
Kabwila made the announcement following Chakwera’s address yesterday, during which there was no time allocated for journalists to pose questions.

According to Kabwila, the previous meeting was intended primarily for Chakwera to share his message with the public.
She explained that the upcoming session will allow media personnel to engage directly with the party leader and seek clarifications.
Chakwera’s earlier press conference was held on Friday at the MCP headquarters in Lilongwe, where he addressed the nation and party supporters.
The follow-up briefing aims to ensure transparency and provide journalists the platform to ask questions regarding the party’s policies and future plans.
