Independent presidential candidate Adil James Chilungo has outlined an ambitious agenda to address Malawi’s pressing economic challenges, including hunger and high interest rates.

Chilungo’s plan focuses on modernizing agriculture through the use of organic fertilizers, promoting mass irrigation, and establishing a non-interest banking system.

According to Chilungo, hunger in Malawi is “created by some selfish people” and can be ended by uniting in proper and modern utilization of the country’s lands and waters

He claims to have developed a groundbreaking organic fertilizer, Glowbest Fish Based 100% Organic liquid fertilizer, which he believes can revolutionize Malawi’s agricultural sector.

Chilungo’s agenda also includes providing interest-free loans to entrepreneurs, protecting government funds, and promoting entrepreneurship and sustainable development initiatives.

His plan aims to reduce poverty, ensure equitable distribution of wealth, and improve lives and livelihoods.
