Member of Parliament for Nkhata Bay South, Kenneth Zikhale Ng’oma, has reaffirmed his commitment to driving meaningful development in his constituency.
Ng’oma, who also serves as Minister of Mining, made the pledge during the official presentation of his nomination papers to the Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) at Kachere Teacher Development Centre.

Describing the submission as a crucial step in his re-election bid, Ng’oma emphasized his determination to deliver economic and social progress for the people of Nkhata Bay South.
“This is not just about me; it’s about the people of Nkhata Bay South,” he said, adding that,”I pledge to continue working hard to drive development and promote the welfare of everyone in this constituency.”
Ng’oma highlighted several development initiatives already underway under his leadership, urging his constituents to maintain their support for continued transformation.
His commitment to the constituency’s development is evident in his actions, and he remains focused on improving the lives of the people he serves.
In addition to Ng’oma, Tukombo Ward Councillor Mauka Chirwa and Mbamba Ward Councillor Job Chirwa have also filed their nomination papers, signaling a competitive electoral landscape.
As the election season heats up, Ng’oma’s pledge to prioritize development and the welfare of his constituents will likely be a key factor in his campaign.
