Transporters Association of Malawi partners with Salima Sugar Company to address sugar shortage

The Transporters Association of Malawi (TAM) has partnered with Salima Sugar Company to transport sugar from its factory warehouse to various parts of the country.

This collaboration aims to address the recent sugar shortage and price hike in Malawi.

According to a statement released by TAM, over 20 trucks with a 30-tonne capacity each have been deployed to ferry sugar to all major cities and towns.Trucks will be added as needed to ensure a stable supply of sugar

TAM has assured Malawians of its commitment to ensuring a speedy and efficient supply of sugar throughout the country.

This partnership is expected to help alleviate the sugar shortage and stabilize prices in the market.
