In its quest to facilitate mobile banking among its customers,First Capital Bank (FCB) has on Friday launched a promotion called ‘changu pa phone’.
According to the bank’s Head of Marketing Twikale Chirwa, the new promotion will help motivating the customers to embrace their digital platforms.
Said Chirwa: “As you are aware that the world has gone digital so Malawians have to embrace the digital platforms because they are faster and secure.”
He disclosed that FCB is targeting to recruit over 10 thousand new customers through the promotion.
First Capital Bank,is a Malawi’s full-service commercial bank offering financial products and services to the corporate, retail and personal markets.
With its diverse product offering, the bank caters to the needs of all segments of the Malawi market and has one of the most extensive branch and agency distribution networks in the country.
FCB opened for business in 1995 with one branch in Blantyre.
From its humble beginnings, the bank now operates 32 branches and agencies across Malawi employing 850 staff and serving a customer base of 500 000.
